The purpose of this site is to promote glasgow richmond model boat club & it's activities. glasgow richmond is regarded as one of the premier clubs in scotland, engaged in promoting model boating in all it's forms. the club takes part in various charity & local council events throughout the year. meetings are held at the boathouse in richmond. Glasgow richmond model boat club (glasgow, united kingdom) glasgow richmond mbc. is probably the largest mbc. in scotland, with some eighty plus members.we meet on wednesdays and sundays, from midday until approx.4.30pm. the club is also open on a thursday evening from 6pm. until it closes. the range of interest in boats holds no boundaries. I've heard that there is a glasgow model steam boat club that has regular meetings and i was wondering where this actually takes place and if any of you attend? i'd like to get along and have a shake down run with a wee boat and have a blether..
