boat planer board mast
Minn kota trolling motor base customized to mount a big jon's planer board mast. there are two brand new cannon dual planer boards attached to downrigger ball clips. all that is left to do is add. Ive used planer boards out on lake erie. i like them a lot i think its the way to go out there. we use cherry wood for the boards. there isnt a better planer board out there. im not sure what the line is but its orange if that helps. our mast thingy is mounted at the front of the boat and the lines come down by the counsel and out. hope that helps u lol.. I have an 18'lund sport angler. i currently run a big jon dual mast out of the forward pedestal. i do have issues on some turns and on windy days (like yesterday) where the planer board line comes back and rubs against the rods that are set out to the side of the boat..
