The jackets themselves were worn by german u-boat deck crews throughout ww2. please note: these jackets have quite a snug fit, and are quite short in the arm, as per the originals. if you want a looser fit and longer sleeves, then please order the next size up.. I would watch out for u-boat jackets and pants as they are heavily reproduced today . if you have a jacket with the word " baujahr " with a date after it , you have a very high quality fake as no clothing uses " baujahr " on it's labels , incorrect use of the german word . most of the leather jakets and pants passed off as km or u-boat issue. - u-boat deck grey leather jacket and trousers - this is a rare uniform - in great battle front used condition. this outstanding original german u-boat deck uniform is made of a grey leather and has kriegsmarine buttons (anchor), stamped on the back "extra fein" secured on the back side with a plan fiber button. this is an outstanding two piece.
