bottom paint for a trailer boat
Re: bottom paint for trailer boat i've been doing a ton of research on this very topic, as i'm in the process of doing the exact same thing. after calling interlux like 10 times and asking them questions, as well as getting advice on this forum and other places, i decided to go with a new barrier coat (interlux interprotect 2000e) and vc performance epoxy over top of that.. Strip away old paint. to protect the area underneath and around the boat, it is recommended to put down a tarp. this will also help ensure quick and easy cleanup. a paint stripper, scrapper and brush will be required for this task. apply a thick layer of paint stripper to the entire bottom of the boat. wait about 15 minutes before scrapping.. This antifouling paint is ideal for all types of boats in all waters. in point of fact, it is known for being one of the most preferred bottom paint for trailer boats primarily because it can guarantee long-standing performance and can ensure first-rate multi-season protection. its 1 gallon size is already big enough to cover a large area..
