model boat building glues In my youth i have built model boats using the white type of glues. i am about to start building a 46" plywood model boat for use with electric drives. i know from model plane building that ca is now the commonly used glue but from my experience its "un-friendly" and can be difficult to use. have any similar developments taken place in the last. As i typically build in plastic only (yes, i have used some resin and photoetched aftermarket details), i am curious what glue to utilize for this all wooden model. the directions call for “white vinyl” glue, which i assume, is the same as elmer’s glue all (their white glue). i can not imagine that glue holding up very well over time though..
