I have civ 5 and it plays fine on win 10 but civ4 every time i try to play it says re-log in as admin privlage i don't have that setting on my private comp at home i'm the only user so the prob is win 10 it always played fine before geeksquad couldn't make it work either!. 
work boat civ 4 I've noticed having an embarked unit escorted by a ship doesn't protect it from coastal bombardment. in civ v if your unit was escorted and bombarded, the ship would sustain the damage instead of the land unit. not so in civ vi. my ranger jumped on a sub and was escorted, but no movement points left after that.. This is because the work boat itself becomes the upgrade, such as becoming a fishing boat to increase food output. a very important late-game improvement for water tiles is the offshore platform..
